Fourth grade Math teacher at the Leadership Academy at Como Elementary School in Fort Worth, Texas — Thomas Mayfield — does more than just teach math to his students. He teaches them about the importance of education and to never stop chasing their dreams.

As a singer/songwriter himself, Mr. Mayfield has combined his talents of teaching and music to produce a number of videos with the students and staff at his school. Each video features students rapping about their goals and their will to learn and succeed.

Mr. Mayfield’s most recent production, called Queens, includes all the female students and staff at the school, promoting female empowerment and equality. Powerful lyrics, a catchy beat, and confident young girls combine to make this one music video that’ll make you smile and want to share.
