The school year takes its toll on teachers, for obvious reasons and not-so-obvious reasons. The daily grind is unlike any other profession, both mentally and physically exhausting teachers to the brink of insanity. By this time of year, the only true savior is a little time off. Time to recharge, time to relax, time to unwind. Summer break is not a luxury, it’s a necessity, and there isn’t a teacher out there who would disagree. Here’s some proof!

Summer “break” has a whole new meaning this year. I’ve never worked so hard … and yet, never felt so rewarded for all my hard work. ?

What would make a kid cry when it’s the last day of school & he gets to go on summer vacay? Missing his teacher. Dozens of them at school today. Because teachers make *deep connections*. Kid would rather be at school than on break. How amazing is that? #teacherlife
