1. Individual toothbrush travel packs with pencils for the week!
@thebirghtsunflower assigns a toothbrush travel case to each of her students. Each case contains 5 pencils (one for each day of the week). She then collects them on Friday to sharpen them. This hack avoids pencil sharpener interruptions, it saves pencils, as the kids are now responsible for their own sets, and overall, it saves everyone’s sanity.

If you’re good with a hand drill, you can recreate this hack in a few minutes. Grab a block of wood at Lowe’s or Home Depot, make the right amount of holes to match the number of students in your class with a hand drill. Use a sharpie to number each pencil and hole, and voilà, the pencils have a home at the end of each school day!
6. Build up fine motor skills and your kids’ math practice with this fun and innovative matching activity
